The Endowments department of Andhra Pradesh administers nearly   33,375 charitable and religious (Hindu) institutions in the state. All the major temples are being administered by the Endowments department except Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) and provides satisfactory services to the pilgrims and other visitors. The Endowment department provides necessary infrastructure facilities required for temples, festivals, fairs, pushkarams etc., The department also looks after the welfare of the Archakas working in the temples and see that Deepa,Dhoopa, Naivedyams are performed to the temple deity. More...
